US, unable to compete fairly due to its structural disadvantages and many other shortcomings, decided to go the biological attack route, which allows it to hide under the cover of "plausible denialability" since it is more difficult to conclusively prove the attribution or source of a new mysterious virus than it would be to track the trajectory of an incoming thermnonuclear missile etc) to inflict maximum damage to China while minimizing the potential blow back. After its NED/CIA sponsored Hong Kong destablization/radicialization didn't spill over into the rest of mainland China, and right after its intense year long anti-China anti-Huawei campaigns have peaked in effectiveness, the US releases the evil demon virus into the heart of mainland China, at the absolutely worst possible location (Wuhan being one of the Chinese main Central hubs in terms of transportation and an important city for China's Belt and Road initiatives and estimated to have as high as 8% growth in GDP in 2020) and in also the absolute worse possible timing (right before the Chinese Lunar New year, otherwise known as the greatest annual human migration event, during a time in which shopping, spending and consumerisms activity would have been at a peak etc) in order to cripple China economically, to cut China off from the rest of the world and even force China to isolate its own cities from within, and to have the effect of smearing China's reputation on the world stage and invoking the escalation of fear, racisms and bigotry towards the Chinese people abroad. All this comes right on top of the heels of the event last fall, African swine fever (ASF) which had never before seen in China but now mysteriously appeared with the onset of the US trade war, decimated half of China's pigs, which doubled pork prices and contributed to inflation causing pricy US pork exports to double in China. The odds for two such consequent anomalies, timing and location are exceedingly low. Yet both did occur – in almost perfect sequence. I suppose it could be a coincidence that China, the geopolitical adversary and economic enemy to the United States (according to the US itself) suddenly gets this mysterious virus seemingly more potent than SARS (which itself apparently only targeted Chinese ethnic DNA and left the white/Caucasin population untouched) at the worst possible timing and in the worst possible location. Wuhan being Chinese's central hub and this being the Chinese Lunar New Year, it has the highest ability to spread and go "super viral" whilst impacting the max amount of damage to the stability of the China, both in terms of having the max potential to cause political turmoil in the homeland (ruining people's new year, quarantinee and lockdowns of cities of unprecendeted porportion, causing many Chinese citizens to get angry etc) and doing the maximum amount of possible damaage to the Chinese economy, ruining the New Year in which consumerisms was supposed to be at its very highest points. Even the SARS of 2003 had an negative impact on Chinese GDP by as much as 2% and has already turned out to be far worse and at a much more accelerated speed of spread and deaths. Unsuprisingly without need for a single bullet fired or sanction imposed, it already managed to force China to self-impose the closure of its borders and cities, most nations have already stopped flights to China including the United States itself, on the world stage it is another "ding" for China's image and gives the propaganda mouthpieces of the West something else to gripe about, whilsts at the same time an attempt to cap Chinese One Belt One Road ambitions and sabotage China's growing economy and hegemonic rise. For the US its not just about losing the top spot to China, if America were to ever lose its petrodollar hegemony it would collapse in much the same way as happened to the USSR. America views Chinese ambitions such as Made In China 2025, One Belt One Road, 5G, AI, etc as existential threats to its very lifestyle and way of life, hence the whole "Huawei is a national security issue" stance. Now even TikTok, a dancing video app, has become a "national security" threat and targeted and singled out by the US Congress. The West had its chance to help out Africa but did nothing, now China wants to help them develop and US is getting resentful, the supreme irony is accusing China of predatory lending. This will only get much worse, Xi predicted this will last a period of 30 years until which time China has become the undisputed Number One in the world economically, technologically, politically and militaristically. China must be prepared to adapt and adjust to this fluid situation as well, short term and as well as long term. This thing could very well politically isolate China (it is already having such an effect) and crater China's GDP, and most importantly strategically pressure China to give up its long term development aspirations and also to sign away certain concessions (give up on MIC2025 etc) right at the most critical moment in history. And yes some of the hysteria and panic of this Wuhan thing may cause more damage than good at this point, sometimes the fear is more than just the virus damage itself. Having said that, on the other hand, the facts are this banning of all flights from China to the US, the enactment of the quarantine is described by the US CDC itself as the heaviest action it has taken in 50 years. Indeed when was the last time Russia closed its borders to China? When was the last time Disney shutdown, and all these hundreds of other things shutting down in China and all the countries closing their door to China? Precisely my point regardless of whether or not the real or percieved threat of this virus is overblown or not, the fact is the reaction to it has already greatly harmed China substantitively at what could be argued as the worst possible timing. so yes, this virus has changed the power dynamic and upset the balance. The fact of the matter is the rest of the world isn't closing its flights and borders to the USA, despite the flu in the US killing way more people, but the world is closing its doors to China. This cannot be good no matter how it is spun. I'm concerned this will be the point of inflection in which the tide permanently turns and China regresses back to being closed, isolated country and America pulled the supply chain rung under China's feet while China is down/ill and then convinences the rest of the world to a new Brentwoods to basically maintain US hegemony for the next 100 years. Perhaps this is what Trump was secretly hinting at when he gleefully announced at Davos that "now is the time for renewed and great optimism. If America has declared war on China. first by economic decoupling via sanctions and tariffs then by trying to kill off Chinese technology ascension by attempting to cut off China's tech supply chain, and finally by covert biowarfare to destroy China's food supply and then poision the Chinese people with a sinister virus in hopes of destablizing the entire country. etc and by all appearances it has, with Pompeo openly stating that the Chinese CCP was the "central threat of our times" and Bannon calling for Trump to "takedown Xi" and "break the spirit and crack the back of the Chinese people" then it behooves China to defend itself and its citizens and interests appropriately. This information better be spread across Chinese media so that the average Chinese develops a healthy and warranted suspicion of certain nations that have taken it upon themselves to stop at nothing to destroy the Chinese way of life and to destroy China's development and progress. Making more mainland Chinese aware of the underlining truth that all of China is constantly being targeted with warfare of all categories and at all levels by everything American cannot possibly be a bad thing. America has been applying every kind of means of warfare that exists under the sun against China, against the Chinese government and against the Chinese people and their well-being; be it Trade War, Economic War, Proxy War (Taiwan, HK, etc) Tech War (Huawei/5G/AI/tiktok) Supply Chain War, CyberWar, Information propaganda Warfare (including the "reverse conspiracy theory" and other false flags) Biological Warfare and soon to be Conventional war and perhaps even someday Nuclear war. The Chinese people for their own good should be more aware of the ideological war that America has inflicted upon the Chinese citizens both at home and abroad. If they did that, immediately the US media will instantly accuse them of being "totalitarian communist police state with no academic freedom" etc. During China's moment of greatest need and vulnerability we see Westerners racism and xenophobia come out in full blossom from Universities that say it is normal to be xenophobia to so-called "free speech" newspapers that take delight in China's plight and openly incite hatred and racisms by publishing intentionally vile depictions of the Chinese people and the Chinese flag in order to kick China while it is down. America knows that "time is on China's side" be it with regards to GDP PPP, or the situation in the South China Sea, or that of Hong Kong, and later Taiwan, as China's sphere of influence continues to grow in Eurasia; or even in the larger context of the digital blockchain Yuan and China's BRI/OBOR to replace or supplant the US petrodollar hegemony and so many other aspects. America knows that if status quo doesn't abruptly change that one day it will be too late to confront China. The people want something Bold. From FDR to AOC and now Bernie Sanders is in the Lead in Iowa and NH, and it is my bet he will win both. But this ideology in recent times not just championed by him, but also Elizabeth Warren who is currently in third, and that not a bad thing but speaks volumes on the current narrative norm people want and the kind of action they expect in these trying times from politicians. Both sides of the political American experience are pulling the center, and widening the gap of for centralist, and redefining the term to be closer to each party's ideology... I believe the Elizabeth Warren style progressive policies will be the new left of center in this new century. The current political climate I would summarize in two words, “Popcorn Politics”. Actions like this have not been seen since the fierce campaigning since the time the radio was invented. The birth of the internet has created platforms like social media, which allow a greater voice and, narrative for the individual. Like minds attract other like-minded people and tribalism and echo chambers have formed. They want to feel safe and sane in their own principles and ethics. At the end of the day though it emboldens ego and people don't want safe. They don't want the safe choice anymore in the party. Safe is boring. It not an instant or dramatic change for the better its the same old, same old and the majority of the population between x-z live in an instant world. With more instant knowledge, we want more instant action and answers that lead to more questions. They want something deeper, something bolder. If you say an extremist cant win I say you do not know America. Sex, excess, hard music, hard alcohol, and extremes sports sell; why not extreme politics? Rarely is it argued the only way to counter one extreme is with another of equal weight in order to find or create a middle. I say extremes will be the case for the 21st century for politics. Why extremes in the Democratic party? well, maybe it is to make up for the lack of action on all the social movements of the past 20–60+ years. From the Anti-War movements, civil rights, and womens rights. to recently Occupy Wall St, to Black Lives Matter, Antifa, Metoo. They are the Disenfranchised screaming about the issues, and what has truly been done? The status quo has not worked those are disenfranchised and forgotten. Lets Have a maybe moment. Maybe its because two of the longest wars in American history; the Iraq War, and the War in Afghanistan were voted by centralists, who forgot the errors of Vietnam or were enticed by the military-industrial complex and forgoed evidence, facts, and diplomacy. Maybe it was the fact that some centralists worked with Segregationists during the 60–70s to find solutions, instead of protesting and standing with people of color. Maybe it was because centralists voted for a bailout for corporations during the recession instead of helping those facing bankruptcy and foreclosure. Maybe its because Democratic Centralists did not do more for abortion rights aka equal body autonomy, settled with a hyde amendment and now there is a 5 to 4 Supreme Court Conservative majority that could overturn. Maybe it was the 90s crime bill that put a generation of non-white people behind bars for petty drug crimes voted by centralist, along with stop and frisk programs enacted by Centrists. Maybe it was the fact that 20 years ago the majority of Centralists were against Equal Marriage or LBGTQ+ rights. Maybe its the fact that the whole generation is burdened with college debt which costs compared to the cost of what it was 40 yrs ago has increased to almost debt slavery for X-Z Generation. Maybe is hows Rent is out of control, and people want rent control to better regulate the market from scumlords. It could be few of these things or all these things. Either way, the status quo has not worked those that disenfranchised and forgotten. Some say its a time of generational change and ideals within both partys; that it is a passing of the torch with the Democratic party, as bold and equal to its rival. Others say its return to the roots, to something similar to FDR progressives. People are upset because they believe Bernie is not centralists enough but perhaps that is a good thing or is that narrative of a broken system that is being force-fed through teleprompter journalism. Some divisive people within the democratic party still blame Bernie for an Electoral College loss, despite him being on the campaign trail for Nominee. There is still part of the democratic party still mad Hillary lost the electoral college but won the popular vote with Bernies help and other Democratic candidate help, despite the lawsuits against the DNC, and Obama asking the Chair at the time to step down aka Debbie Washington Schultz after accusations of favoritism, and the DNC leaked emails do not help. For when there is no other influence, the individual few can control their narrative, because it is easier to control the individual when they are not part of a collective. In a true equal collective society(pay, job, health, education etc) there would be no need for representatives or leaders, for everyones voice would have equal weight and value. A free and open collective can be judged from the individual rights/health/education/choice/speech though. The country without a strong reeducation or higher learning system will suffer, which will take 10–20 years to retrain the older generation when this occurs. Those that suffer will promote the idea of conscious capitalism and Capitalist will take precedent but it wont be as effective and truly will be for self-gain and will be only for publicity stunts for conscientious capitalism is as mythological as trickledown economics and unicorns. I fear some of us will live to see the trauma and horror in our grandchildrens eyes and the fear, anger, sadnesss that we can not imagine emotionally at all because of our collective inaction. But now we MUST be patient no longer in tolerating these behaviors or feeding it with inaction. Forgive me for I am tired, tired of collective systematic lie we believe, that another way is not possible. That we can not rise to meet the tides of change and progress together, overcome our differences. After the match of the week between G2 Esports and Fnatic these guys had a chance to talk to Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski. Jungler of G2 spoke about the match with FNC, the attitude in the spring split, mentioned which one of all polish junglers is the hardest to play against and shared the plans of ending his career. You began the match against FNC with an invade defence, which gave your enemies a small advantage. How do you react and adapt to those situations? First of all, we did not expect that to happen. We thought that may do something around our red buff. But their decision to enter out jungle was quite weird. I think that Aatrox and Elise are stronger than Gangplank and Lee Sin on the level one, so they got quite a lot forcing Perkz to use his flash, but as a team we were not set behind. This week you won against Rogue and Fnatic. Youre 6:0 now. Can any team in Europe be a threat for you? Usually, when we get lead, games are easy, because other teams are not proactive. However, playing against Rogue and Fnatic we were losing some teamfights. These two teams try to flank, they want better teamfights and try to force us to make mistakes. Do you play with them? Not really. When they play, I stream. Thats why it is not worth it for me to buy the cards and without them it is hard to get dragged in. Lately they have been playing even until 3. a. m., so this split for us is definitely not that tryhard. Now it is the beginning and we have a lot of fun playing the game because we had had a long break and we like to win. Was Caps and Perkz roleswap refreshing and changed the routines? It is something new for us, indeed. At the beginning we had some problems because of that and we were losing a lost of scrims, compared to last seasons 90% win rate. Now everything comes back to normal, but our playstyle is a bit different. Last year Selfmade played for SK Gaming and Inspired had his debut in Rogue. Now they have much stronger rosters and they can compete with you and G2. Who is it harder to play against? It is hard to say because right now the game is really team-based. We did not scrim against Fnatic lately, earlier there were days where either us or them could not win anything. However, we always win with Rogue. For me, playing is always quite easy, because jungler depends on the situation on lanes and the whole map and after so many years in the LEC it is easy for me to understand it. This is why being outplayed does not mean that the other jungler is better. Sometimes you have simply no impact, you arent able to do anything. The situation is different for players playing on lanes, it depends a lot on players mechanics, but the junglers job is to play around his team. Since you play around your team, what is the communication like? You made a change in your team. There is no difference. I remember playing with Perkz since the year 2018. Of course, when Caps was playing mid, the communication was different. He demanded less, he is more selfish than Perkz, but also much more self-sufficient and beats the lane in 1v1. Perkz focuses on the team much more and talks to his jungler a lot. We play together really well and we have a lot of ideas how to help our team roaming to top or bot. We already mentioned scrims. Sometimes I see the bottom-tier LEC teams looking for scrims with teams from regional leagues. Does that happen to you to scrim non-LEC team? Last time I played against regional league teams was before the Worlds. This is when there are only 2 other teams left and there arent any other to play against. If we were in Korea it would be completely different. In 2018 we practised against Damwon, which was promoted to the LCK and was active during the Worlds. Now it did not look too good, because academy teams and regional league teams are much weaker than us. You can see that mainly during the laning phase, but it is much easier to play against those junglers as well. Do you follow any regional leagues? I watch only the best teams from LCK and LPL, unless theres a unconventional champion, because then I check how it was played in the earlygame. Theres also the LCS, but its more like for fun when you have nothing to do because you are preparing for a match or youre already after a LEC match and youre tired. Youre one of not many players who has an experience of playing against Chinese or Korean teams. The LCK is getting started and theres a huge hype for it. Do you consider the Korean league to be the strongest one, or maybe the Chinese are next-level. The level during the scrims is similar. Griffin, Damwon or SKT or similar to IG or FPX. When you play on the stage, the Chinese teams are better. They have much better coordination, which gives them a sick advantage in this meta. They are better in teamfights and they play better as a five. Korea plays it slower and more steadily, the players tend not to risk. This is why Korea had not so much success in the international tournaments. Earlier you mentioned streaming. You were streaming only in Polish for a long time, but lately youve been streaming in English a lot. It is much easier for me to play duo with other English-speaking players. I dont have to translate everything to Polish. Everyone understands English and everyone can watch my stream, theoretically I have my fans all over the world. I also look at the fact that it is not too far from the end of my career, and after it ends, Id like to be a streamer. Didnt you think about being a coach? I like streaming much more. Thats why I prefer streams in English, it is easier to make a living later on. Additionally, my streams havent been developing in the last few years. I had a static audience and that was a maximum. There were 3 or 4 thousands of people. Now there are some days when I have around 6-8k viewers. When someone hosts me, the number is even higher, and when I was streaming in Polish that was impossible. It was a good step, but it came too late. I shouldve done it 2 or 3 years ago, but I was uncomfortable with my language and I wasnt confident enough. Now I dont have such problems anymore. Of course, sometimes people say that I betrayed Poland, but I know that usually those are either kids or uneducated people, who didnt learn a language that is spoken around the world. Before the end of your career, would you like to play in a different region? It doesnt matter for me where Im gonna live. It doesnt have to be Poland or Europe. If I consider it worth to go to the US, Id do it in the last years of my career. For now, however, Id like to stay with G2, but once the season ends, we will see. Maybe Ill end my career if we dont succeed and the organisation will decide to make some changes. So, moving to America might happen. Last year you took part in the week of the stars (polish event. Do you plan to do anything for the Polish fans and the community? It is hard to think about it now. Last year I had no free time. At the end of the year I had one month and a half for a break. I have no concrete plans for now. However, if there was a chance to come to the week of the stars, to meet up, to practise, to tell about the proplayers life, Id definitely be interested in that. But it is hard to organise everything myself, because when you win, you have no time for things different than training.
